July 1st – 21st

What the Church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or
more and novel methods, but men and women whom the Holy Ghost can use — men and
women of prayer, men and women mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through
methods, but through men and women. He does not come on machinery, but on men and
women. He does not anoint plans, but men and women — men and women of prayer.”
 E.M. Bounds
We believe there is a drastic difference between a church that prays and a church of prayer; a person who prays and a person of prayer. It is with this belief that we feel strongly moved to approach the days ahead in the posture of prayer. Prayer is more than a spiritual activity. It is a supernatural practice of connecting with, and hearing from, God. As a church, our desire is to embrace this practice and establish it as part of our culture.
The heartbeat behind the 21 Days of Prayer is to create a sense of unity within our church. We know that when God’s people are unified in His vision, He moves in a powerful way. From the beginning days of the early church through today, the Holy Spirit is unleashed in and through people when they humbly approach Him. We encourage you to find 3 times a day to set aside 7 minutes to pray – totaling 21 minutes of prayer each day for 21 days. Whether it is through the daily prayer, or coming to the weekly prayer nights, we want you to join with others in this season of prayer.

While we love gathering as a church for our Worship Experience every Sunday, we feel strongly that gathering during the week to pray as a church is just as important. Every Monday evening, we will create the space to pray together as a community and lay the groundwork for another year of seeing God move. Whatever season of life or faith you are in, we would love to see you join us for these nights of prayer.

Each day during the 21 Days of Prayer, we will provide a Daily Guide that will prompt you through that day’s prayer time. When you choose to participate each day is up to you, but we encourage you to make the time for this daily practice. The Daily Guide will include a portion of God’s Word and 3 different prompts to pray – one for the morning, one for the afternoon, and one for the evening. Our hope is that your faith will be strengthened, and that you will see God move through these 21 Days of Prayer.
