About the author
Nirup Alphonse is the founder and lead pastor of LIFEGATE Church, a vibrant multiethnic community in Denver, Colorado. Born in Singapore to missionary parents and raised in India, his global upbringing shaped a lifelong passion for ministry.
After completing his early education in India, Nirup moved to Chicago, where he finished high school and later earned his degree from Trinity International University. Nirup and his wife Hannah planted LIFEGATE Church in Denver in 2015. Under his leadership, LIFEGATE has become one of the fastest-growing churches in the Denver metro area, guided by a heart for people and a commitment to building a diverse, Jesus-centered community.
In addition to pastoring, Nirup ministers to a global audience, speaking at conferences, college campuses, business gatherings, and churches around the world. Beyond ministry, he is an avid reader, loves tennis, and has a deep love for travel, history, cultural anthropology, theology, and all things Chicago. He and Hannah have been married for over nineteen years and are the proud parents of four sons, Jai, Elijah, Kai, and Levi, and one daughter, Shiloh, in heaven.

- New guests looking for community
- Regular attenders wanting to grow deeper
- Members and volunteers ready to practice the Made Alive Life
- Friends, neighbors, and coworkers invited by someone they trust.

Friend, thank you for saying yes. When you open your home for Collectives, you are doing something the church cannot manufacture on a platform or in a program. You are making room for the Made Alive Life to happen up close: around a table, in a living room, over a meal. For the people who gather with you this season, you will be their primary point of connection. They will not remember the room decor or the playlist. They will remember whether they were seen, whether they belonged, and whether something of Jesus met them at your table.
